Hi, I’m Karla Ehlers, OTR/L, MOT, PCES, TIPHP, RWP-1, Owner of Occupelvic Health & Wellness.
I’m a Trauma-Informed Pelvic Health Occupational Therapist and Digestive Health Coach devoted to helping women better understand and support their bodies so they can move, work and live with greater confidence and less fear, pain and overwhelm. The quality of your life matters!
With 12 years of experience working with medically complex, neurological, cardiac and orthopedic post-op patients across the United States, I bring a whole-person approach to pelvic health and recovery.
I founded Occupelvic Health & Wellness in 2023 to support women with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and digestive health through a nervous-system-informed, trauma-aware lens. My approach combines pelvic floor therapy, pain neuroscience, breathwork, gentle movement and nervous system retraining strategies.
I created this Post-Op Recovery Program because healing takes more than surgery alone. It takes education, support, self-compassion and practical movement and neuroscience based strategies to help you understand your body, rebuild confidence and overcome chronic pain.
You deserve care that sees the whole you — not just your diagnosis. You deserve to heal from complex surgery in a way that feels safe, supported and sustainable.
I can’t wait to meet you at your online initial consultation!
